When Trump uses racist rhetoric and marshals state power to target some minorities, he empowers and informally deputizes dangerous racists across the country who feel emboldened to act on their own, and there are no boundaries to their targets. The sloppiness of the ICE and CBP agents rounding up non-immigrants is mirrored by Trump’s racist followers who attack Muslims, non-Muslim brown people, immigrants, non-immigrant brown people, and also Jewish people. And when Trump doesn’t say anything about it, these violent racists know they have the tacit approval of this administration.

Remember Trayvon?

“It has been five years since the senseless slaughter of an 11th-grader happened in Sanford, Fla., and the world erupted. We shouldn’t forget about the fight for black lives, and we should always recall what happened to that little boy with a pocketful of Skittles, walking home and talking on the phone.

“He was 17.”

From my brother @nvnsbstn and his wife @rachelmachmuller on how this is affecting us, our families. “Yesterday morning, I read about the devastating murder of an Indian man, Srinivas Kuchibhotla, in Olathe, Kansas. He was murdered by a racist individual who believed he didn’t belong in this country and therefore shot him. Yesterday afternoon, Nevin and I went for lunch and three white men sat down next to us. One man loudly said, “Today, I’m going to be white, racist, and drunk.” They all laughed aloud and cheered, then proceeded talking about how happy they were that Trump is president. They clearly wanted confrontation. We immediately got our check and left. It wasn’t about politely dismissing their racist comments nor about having our voices heard or standing up for what we believe in, it was about surviving. This makes my heart hurt so deeply. Racism, ignorance, hatred…staring you in the face. Normally, I would speak. I wanted to. Nevin was the logical one telling me that we need to leave before things got bad. Then, understanding in that moment, the consequence could be something bigger than what I could grasp was worth my silence. I felt so much anger, pain, sadness. But, today is a new day and we will move forward, we will love, and we will win. I will be loud today and everyday because my family is my life and my true purpose. We will survive and teach our children and their children that love trumps hate, always.”

Trump Administration Seeks to Loosen Hiring Requirements to Beef Up Border Patrol

Donald Trump wants to hunt down brown people by giving guns and uniforms to 10,000 new hires, even if those new hires are unqualified and untrustworthy. New info in exclusive leaked internal memo.

“Customs and Border Protection, part of DHS, is seeking approval to relax some stringent standards that have made it difficult for the agency to meet recruitment targets in recent years. That includes a request to potentially loosen congressionally-mandated requirements such as a polygraph, as well as an entrance exam and background check.”

“Yet those tough standards, including a mandatory polygraph, were put into place by Congress in 2010, after Customs and Border Protection suffered acute growing pains during the Bush administration, when CBP doubled in size. Some Border Patrol agents didn’t complete background checks before they deployed to the frontlines, officials reported, and the agency saw an increase in cases of internal corruption, and questions over its use-of-force training following a spate of deadly incidents.

“And problems have persisted. According to rights group Southern Border Communities Coalition, between 2010 and 2015, media reported 40 deadly incidents involving CBP, and only one agent was prosecuted. The former head of internal affairs at CBP, James Tomsheck, who declined to comment for this story, claims he was pushed out in 2014 because he fought against a “paramilitary” mindset and a culture of evading accountability for abuses. This week, the Supreme Court is hearing a case to determine whether parents of a Mexican teenager shot and killed by a CBP agent can sue.

“The administration’s rush to beef up border security comes as illegal crossings into the United States from Mexico have sunk to their lowest levels in four decades; among Mexican immigrants, the flow has in fact reversed since 2009.”

A Victory for Trump Is a Victory for Big-Name Traders

Trump hasn’t delivered on a single promise on jobs, but he’s making sure that his billionaire ftiends on Wall Street takeover the government, are put in charge of rolling back regulations to make even more at our expense, and get insider information to swindle us even more. Trump’s incompetence has created a vacuum that wall at is filling with corruption, and we’re all paying the price.

Trump is pro Wall Street, anti-jobs.
